Storage and Prep
To roast:
Remove outer packaging, cook in foil at 190oC/ 375oF gas mark 5 for 65 minutes per kg, uncover, baste and roast for a further 30 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before carving.
To cook in a fan assisted or combination oven adjust cooking times in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
To boil:
Remove outer packaging, place in a pan and cover with cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for 55 minutes per Kg plus 25 minutes extra.
